Four Years ago during 2011 my school had decided to run a trip for Spanish students to Cuba and one year £1800 and lots of work later we got on the plane for a 10hr flight to Cuba and the excitement was tangible we arrived around 3:00pm local time. Well the books that I have red recently have all been on the shortlist for the CILIP Carnegie and Kate Greenaway Awards which are the biggest award around for those writing in the Child and Teen genre of books. With 8 books in the Carnegie awards it is hard to read all of them before the winner is announced this year as I do every year red all of the books so that I have an understanding of the one which ultimately wins.
